I’m Jen, Your Garden Guide

Hey there budding gardener,

I’m a professional Garden Consultant, Wellness Practitioner and classically trained French Chef (insert fancy mustache) here to share the knowledge, successes, and discoveries I've gathered in more than a decade of gardening and curating my dream life. Here is where I give you the exact formula I use to cultivate my organic culinary garden and backyard oasis.

Together, we’ll create a custom culinary garden design for you that is beautiful, enjoyable, and most of all easy to maintain. You will have the confidence to grow greens, herbs, vining plants, and edible flowers that impress your guests, delight your senses and nourish your body. You’ll know exactly where your food comes from, when to harvest at peak freshness, and how to use your bounty in the kitchen.

This isn’t just about growing your own food —it’s about creating joy and freedom in your life.

Do you want to start a garden but lack the spare time? Have you started a garden that didn’t do so well or failed completely? Are you overwhelmed by all the details? I’ve been there. I’ve experimented, flopped, flourished and learned so much season after season. Gardening is a process —a grand experiment that can sometimes have frustrating and costly lessons if you don’t know the basics, but if you’re willing to learn you will succeed year after year.

I bet you know more than you think you know, ya know?

A garden doesn’t have to be complicated (or fancy...but we can make it that way if you like!). It can be simple and you are absolutely capable of creating one for yourself, or I can build one for you and teach you how to maintain it. My job is to help you to feel comfortable and confident all along the way.

Just think of the possibilities…bring on the Pinterest board!

Food For Thought

Lettuce loses approximately 46% of key nutrients just 7 days after harvest. Weeks pass before a head of lettuce makes its way across the country and into grocery stores, leaving us with far less than optimum nutrients on our plates.

I also recently learned that organic farmers can spray with chemical pesticides up to a certain number of weeks prior to harvest and still call their product ‘organic’. Produce sold to distributors is often sprayed with pesticides to survive long-haul delivery, so even if we think we’re making the healthiest choice in buying organic, there’s a high chance we’re just paying extra for chemically-treated fruits and vegetables.

Yikes!

If you didn’t want to start growing your own food before this knowledge bomb, I bet you do now!

Why grow a garden?

Imagine stepping outside to harvest fresh herbs, veggies, and edible flowers from your garden.

Your home is your haven and your outdoor space should be an extension of that goodness, especially during warm, sunny months. Why not make it as enjoyable as possible and create something oh, so beautiful?

Starting a garden can feel intimidating, especially if you don’t have prior experience. Maybe you’ve made a few attempts that didn’t turn out as you’d hoped or you’d like to learn more and expand your growing space. There’s a lot to consider when planting a garden, but it doesn’t have to be complicated, and you don’t have to go it alone.

Getting your garden growing should be fun.

From planning and planting to troubleshooting, I’ll teach you my simple method to grow loads of vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers that flourish and what to do when comes time to harvest your bounty and put your garden to ‘bed’.

Together, we’ll move from vision to reality. But first, we need a plan…and the perfect gardening hat!

First things first, you need a PLAN. Every good gardener knows success begins with a good plan. This includes your physical and mental tools for success. I created downloadable Garden Guides so getting started is a snap!
